Thank you!

Thank you Mom and Dad, for everything you both have done for me, Thomas, Patrick, and Mowgli! We would not be one-tenth of who we are if it weren’t for the years of your love, encouragement, scolding, discipline, and care. 

Brain and I are so lucky to have you both in our lives, and so glad you could be there on our wedding day. We feel incredibly fortunate and happy that we all get to live close to each other (aren’t you glad I never went to New York for school?), and that when we do have kids, they’ll have loving grandparents close by. Grandparents who will probably spoil them, like they have spoiled Mowgli. But that’s what grandparents are for, I guess! 

You both have taught me so much about what it means to raise a family in a happy, healthy, loving environment. We can only aspire to do the same for our future family, even if we end up having a few sour hearts of our own. 

Thank you again for celebrating with us on this very special day. It wouldn’t have been the same without you.
