Thank you for the generous wedding gift, and for being part of our celebration! Gloria, I can’t believe you were basically pregnant the entire time since my bridal shower and no one was the wiser. Now, baby Eveyln has joined the newest generation, and it’s wild that we’ve all come so far and been friends through it all. 

We used to think about what it would look like once we all had our own families and kids. That day has basically arrived, and luckily, it has only changed all our friendships for the better. And now, instead of taking shots at someone’s apartment party on campus, we are adding caviar to our eggs and lox on bagels — so I’d say we’re on the up and up!

You’ve always been such a steadfast friend, turning your motherly instincts on full-blast whenever we stayed up too late, or when I was suffering heartbreak, or when I was super lonely in my ERC apartment and you came to keep me company and give me a pep talk. It’s amazing to see the kind of mother you’re already turning out to be — warm and loving and affectionate, but also setting real boundaries for yourself. You’re a force to be reckoned with, Glory, and I can’t wait to go through life with you only ever a text, call, gchat away.

Thank you again for celebrating with us on this very special day. It wouldn’t have been the same without you.
