Thank you, 舅舅 and 舅媽, for such a generous wedding gift! And for driving the entire family down + Cali to LA. We hope you had a great time!

It’s funny thinking that Brian and I are also Jiu Jiu and Jiu Ma now, to our niece and nephew. I remember what a wonderful thing it was, to visit the Huang family in San Jose, then in Tracy for holidays, long weekends, just because. (And remember when Brian performed a magic trick during a holiday get together and everyone applauded, and Jiu Ma thought he was proposing?) Being close to you both, Judy, and Steven was and is such an important part of how I grew up, and the kind of close family relationship we want to emulate. Here’s to hoping that Brian and I will be as great at being 舅舅 and 舅媽 to Lily and Maize, as you were to me.

Thank you again for celebrating with us on this very special day. It wouldn’t have been the same without you.
